It was the worst mistake of my life. Not because I did not love this dog or that he did not give me so much enjoyment. It was because it was so much work to take care of him. The bathing took me several hours. First the untangling of its very long hair. Then brushing out. Then shampooing him and putting a cream rinse in his coat to prevent future tangles. Then I would blow dry his hair to untangle it. I would let him outside after this and he would roll in the mud. Good grief, never again.
