   I bought these as a gift for someone who loves chocolate covered cherries. The box arrived very fast and I was pleased with the quick shipment. Knowing this brand as I do, I gave it 5 stars, assuming all was fine. Well, I finally asked my friend how he liked his gift. He sheepishly admitted to throwing them away as they must have been stored improperly and most of the candies seemed very stale and the liquid had seeped out, leaving a hard dry cherry behind. I was really disappointed and upset that he did not enjoy these NORMALLY delicous candies. Can’t get a refund as they have already been tossed, so sorry Amazon…will not order these again

   I received these pretty quick but they were just left on my front porch on a warm day. The delivery person never knocked or rang my doorbell. I opened them and they looked a little sunken but I tried one anyway. Wow yuck yuck yuck!
   I looked at the box and found that they had expired 7 months ago. I called Amazon and they did give me an instant refund and they was very apologetic and they also assured me that they would check their inventory right away to avoid this happening again.

   I think these were probably old or hadn’t been stored properly. They were kind of dry, like the liquid inside had started to evaporate. Always better to buy in a local store if you can find them.
