It’s a Mounds bar- dark chocolate over coconut. You either like/love them or not. As a fan of dark chocolate and coconut, I find them very tasty – hence the 5-star rating. Amazon is a good place to buy them in bulk.

The title of this review is from the old jingle for Mounds and Almond Joy and was a good way of reminding us which was which. Mounds bars don’t have almonds. But what they do have is the great taste of the dark chocolate shell that encases a moist, pleasingly sweet tasting, smooth, candy coconut center. And they have the same great taste they had when I was a kid several decades ago. They’re a simple candy bar that keeps delivering the simple pleasure of chocolate and coconut.
