From Sept. 12-19, the classic candy company will celebrate in-store and online San Francisco, September 8, 2020 — Mary See, who would be 165 years old this year, is the matriarch of California-based See’s Candies, the nearly 100-year old candy company. See’s Candies will be celebrating Mary See’s birthday from Saturday, September 12 to Saturday, September 19 with “Mary See’s Deal of the Day” offers available on select products purchased online, in-store or via See’s new contact free, pick-up service “Click → Pick → Go!”. See’s Candies began when Mary and her son, Charles See, decided to start their own candy company using Mary’s recipes. The iconic black and white checkered shops are modeled after Mary’s kitchen in Los Angeles and many of the recipes that Mary created, using only the finest and freshest ingredients, are still enjoyed today. “Mary See is the heart and soul of See’s Candies and the inspiration for our commitment to using the highest-quality ingredients,” said Pat Egan, CEO of See’s Candies. “Our customers continue to delight in her original candy recipes, which have also been the inspiration for almost 100 years of fresh and delicious candy.
